Widgeon at the Angel Canal Festival - free event
For more than 30 years, the Angel Canal Festival has graced the Regent's Canal with more than 8,000 people attending. The Widgeon Theatre Boat will be there in all its glory. Margaret transcended a life of poverty and servitude to become a popular author and talk show guest. Herbie Treehead has been a performer for twenty years, starting on the streets of London's Covent Garden doing a comedy, magic and visual theatre street show. He has taken his shows all over the world performing street festivals in a host of places from Australia to Ethiopia, as well as America, Europe and Japan. Herbie mixes his clowning style with lots of audience interaction, creating large scale, enormous shows out of a suitcase, from sword fights to horse races and even a bit of Jurassic park all set to music,

Youthsayers is a creative music opportunity for young people aged between 11 to 18 year olds living in the Lambeth area. Get your mind, body and soul down to the sounds of a funky 17-piece band with a large brass section. The project was created in 2016 in collaboration with Raw Material, School Ground Sounds and Lambeth Music and we are funded by Arts Council England.
