Grit of Life

Come join us at The Widgeon Theatre Boat for the outdoor musical play 'Grit of Life' performed against the backdrop of Hawkesbury Junction and the canal.

Listen to the BBC Coventry interview with Widgeon Theatre Boat owner 'MJ Morgan' as she chats about her musical with a difference unlike those gone before. A story told from different viewpoints, both past and present. The narrator weaves you a tale through history and music. You will enjoy, tapping feet, partake in a quiz, hear newly written songs by the known artist Rory Mcleod.

Music composed and written by Rory Mcleod - music available here.

Produced by MJ Morgan to introduce one to the canals and rivers of Britain. Written and directed by John Knowles. We welcome you all aboard!
